Simon Sagal

I'm an active NCAA athlete, Academic All-American, and professional soccer player turned performance coach. I've competed at every level — from CIF championships in high school to Charlotte FC's MLS system to the USL Championship with San Diego Loyal SC — and I bring that experience directly into every coaching session.

I grew up in a family rooted in sport science and performance psychology. That background, combined with my Psychology degree at Point Loma Nazarene University, gives me a unique perspective on player development. I don't just focus on what you do on the pitch — I focus on how you think, prepare, and compete.

My coaching philosophy is simple: meet every player where they are, challenge them to grow, and give them the tools to sustain that growth on their own. I'm not a retired coach looking back — I'm still in it, sharing what I'm learning in real time.
